The Rental Housing Economic Outlook webinar will discuss new developments in the State and Federal response to COVID-19 and what they mean for the rental housing industry.
The Income Property Association of Kern will be hosting a Rental Housing Economic Outlook webinar for residential property owners and managers on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 11:30 am. This event will cover topics including rental assistance, eviction moratoriums, and the Paycheck Protection Program. Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased at https://kernrentaloutlook.eventbrite.com.
IPAK has assembled a fantastic lineup of speakers to discuss all these changes. Greg Terzakis, Senior Vice President for the California Apartment Association, will be discussing state legislation including the recently passed bill SB 91. SB 91 provides financial assistance to qualifying housing providers and tenants of up to 80 percent of the unpaid rent accrued since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. IPAK President Mardi Sharples will provide updates on local rental assistance programs. Finally, Shea Benton of Shea Benton Public Affairs will break down how to apply for PPP loans.
With eviction moratoriums being extended, this event is a can’t miss event for anyone in the housing and real estate sectors. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged. Individuals requesting a hardship allowance should email directors@ipaknet.org to be added to the guest list.
