Homelessness is a challenging issue. While there isn’t any single solution, Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) has a major role to play in helping individuals experiencing homelessness transition and maintain housing. PSH provides placed-based services so that residents get the intensive wraparound care they need to maintain housing. In the Bakersfield-Kern region, we’ve had significant success, with fewer than 1 in 10 PSH residents returning to homelessness.

Learn from the Housing Authority of Kern County, Flood Bakersfield Ministries, the Bakersfield Homeless Center and the Bakersfield-Kern Regional Homeless Collaborative about how we’re coming together to help address homelessness with Permanent Supportive Housing.
