Thank you for signing up to volunteer for the 2022 Kern County Point-in-Time (PIT) Count on February 24, 2022. Your dedication to this work will help us address homelessness in the community. All volunteers are required to attend mandatory two-hour training, regardless of past PIT count experience.

Below you will find the training dates, times and locations, which will be conducted in-person and hybrid. Please select one of the trainings that work best for you. You only need to attend one training.

Training Preparation

In preparation for training, please download the survey app to the device that you will use during the count.

Please arrive to training with the app downloaded and a device available to Use.

To download the app follow these steps:

Step 1: Download Survey 123 from the app store
Step 2: Exit that screen and go to the browser and type: https://arcg.is/0DXbmv (0 is a zero)
Step 3: Click on open in the 123 field app, access camera (yes)
Step 4: Click on Continue without signing in
Step 5: Click on Open surveys

After you attend your mandatory training session, you will be placed on a PIT count team. An email with your team number and registration and parking information will be sent to you prior to February 24. If you are unable to attend any of the training dates, we encourage you to sign up again next year.

All Volunteers will be required to take a rapid COVID test after checking in the day of the count.
